Product Highlight -- Color by Chord Position

Sometimes it just has to be more fun than a standard black-and-white theory level worksheet!  Those can seem tedious and boring to younger students.  But coloring…that can be fun, especially for the artistically inclined student.

Combine the two — fun, artistically pleasing colors AND music theory concepts in one!

The Color by Chord Position activity is a creative, fun way for students to practice identifying root position, 1st inversion, and 2nd inversion chords.  Students identify the position of the chords in the picture and then color the the sections according to the chord position color key.  Designed for the intermediate+ student.  Great for individual and group lessons, or as a take-home activity/assignment for students.

Ideal for students just learning to recognize chord positions.
